3rd Annual Big Sky Ski Weekend
Thursday, Jan 11 th Cinnamon Lodge, Big Sky (bring your dinner)
Friday, Jan 12 th 7:30 am Morning Ski Lessons & Skiing
Saturday, Jan 13 th Skiing (must complete Friday ski lesson)
We will be staying at the Cinnamon Lodge in Big Sky. This is an event center that has a large dining room, no bedrooms or bunk beds. We ask that the scouts and adults sleep in tents on the grass (Snow) outside. Scouts are responsible for camping gear and setting up tents. Scouts and Adults are welcome to use the lodge anytime. If an adult or scout would like to sleep inside this will be in the dining room. All sleeping bags and cots must be put down after dinner and pickup up before breakfast. This space is needed for program and dinning. The cost is the same if scout sleeps inside or outside. We will have to follow BSA youth protection policies in the lodge. http://www.cinnamonlodgeandevents.com/ This is a different lodge from last year.
Each scout must fill out the rental form and the snow sports school release form. We do need the rental form even if your scout is not renting equipment. We still need the skier level and if the scout is snowboarding or skiing. This is to know a count for the ski school. We cannot take your registration without the release forms. We plan on capping registration at 100 so sign up ASAP.
We will close registration by 12-31-2017 and all fees must be paid by this date.
If you have a scout that does not have the funds, no problem. Have your scout master send [email protected] an email and the scout will get a full scholarship at no cost. Thanks to the ski team.
