Venture Roundtable Commissioner
- The Venture Roundtable commissioner plans and implements the monthly 60 minute Boy Scout Roundtable breakout. Boy Scout Breakouts provide training, inspiration, and support to Unit Leaders.
- Identify a topics schedule based on District needs, available training and speakers, and the BSA recommended Roundtable agenda topics.
- Time Commitments: Attends 2 standing meetings per month (Roundtable Planning Meeting and District Roundtable).
- Qualities for Success: A understanding of the needs of Venture Units, training skills, and the ability to identify and coordinate with leaders and guests. The Venture RT Commissioners should be positive and able to refer leaders to needed resources. It is also helpful for the person to be familiar with all Venture training both on-line and in-person courses.

Advancement - Cub Scout
- Look at Cub Scout advancement reports (on line)
- Send leader's Advancement information
- Bring to the Committee's attention any advancement concerns
- Look at Boy Scout advancement reports (on line)
- Send leader's Advancement information
- Bring to the Committee's attention any advancement concerns
- Look at the non-open list of District emails and contact leaders to update information.
- Promote Scouting for Food to Units
- Establish a Scouting for Food schedule
- Serve as Liaison with Grocery Stores
- Sign up units to staff
- Serve as Liaison with the Food Bank for food collection
- Award participation ribbons, send thank you notes, and evaluate event.
- Promote Scout Windows to Units
- Oversee evaluation of window displays
- Distribute awards
- Make a reservation for the event.
- Decide on a theme and overall agenda which usually includes welcome, speaker or program, honoring of Scouts, Training and other Adult awards,
- Recruit others to help (form a committee)
- Liaison with Hotel on menu, number of attendees, and arrange for a cake.

- Develop and oversee a District Venture Activity
- Host a District Boy Scout Recruiting Event
- Serve as Community Service News Reporter (find and give to Web Master community and service opportunity news)
