Cub Scout Summertime Activities

As a committee, we have decided to unfortunately cancel the Bear Rendezvous and Cub Scout Day Camp this summer.

This was not an easy decision to make.  There are so many factors and most of all keeping scouts safe and healthy.

One thing I've learned about scouts, is that we are very good at adjusting and adapting!  We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during all of these changes this summer.

June

For June, we are encouraging packs or dens to get out and take a hike on June 13th. Click on the Scavenger  Hunt List to print out or view on your phone as a guideline. Get creative and make your own too!

You will need to conform to the current health and safety guidelines for the State of Montana's Phase 2 of re-opening, which is a limit of 50 people if social distancing is not allowed. Of course, you can schedule it whenever and wherever it works best for you.

We would love to have any pictures or videos of your activity that we can post on our website and Facebook page.

Join us on Saturday July 18th for a Bike Rodeo between 9 am and 11 am at Ridgeview Elementary School in Belgrade, MT

This is a community event where family and friends are invited!

In order to conform with COVID-19 State and Health Department guidelines, participants will need to register here online so we can keep groups under 50, including parents and volunteers.

Summertime Pack Award

We hope these activities will help Cub Scouts and packs earn their Summertime Pack Award as well as preventing a six month Cub Scouting hiatus.

This is our schedule for the summer. We will not be doing the Egg Drop in July or the Raingutter Regatta in August. We are working on getting more information out for you on these scouting events.
FYI, children who are interested in participating in any of these activities may do so, even if they are not registered as Cub Scouts. We would like these activities to encourage participation in the Cub Scout program. However, they should consider joining if they participate in more than one event.
