Scout Week 2021

Scout week is a National Event where Scouts celebrate Scouting throughout their communities and participate in Scouting for Food. I am excited to be Mountain Valley District's Scout Week Coordinator and look forward to working with all of you to make this a success.

Please use the forms on this page to sign-up for a Scouting for Food slot, register your Scout Window, and provide information on your Scout Sunday participation. Contact me if you have any questions or ideas to make this a great week for Mountain Valley Scouting!

Be sure to make signage that can be hung from a grocery cart. You might want to bring your troop flags too. Please create some materials / information regarding your Unit in order to share with individuals interested in learning more about your Unit. Don't forget an envelope for cash donations.

Be mindful of social distancing, masking and hand sanitizing. Please be sure to take photos - we would LOVE to share images on the District's Facebook page!

Scout Windows

Window Completion Deadline: Saturday, February 6th

• Windows must remain decorated through February 14th.
• Pictures of window displays will be presented during the March 4th District Roundtable meeting. During this meeting, the winner of the window competition will be selected. The winning unit will receive $50!

Scout Sunday

Official Event Date: Sunday, February 7th
*Please note, Superbowl 2021 is scheduled for 2-7-21
Though, Sunday, February 7th is the official event date, there is flexibility with the Scout Sunday date.
