Memorial Day Parade 2022

Date: Monday, May 30th
Time: 8:45 am assembly
Location: Assemble @ Boot Barn Parking Lot, Bozeman (915 West Main Street)
Once again we are able to have our Memorial Day Parade this year put on by the American Legion in Bozeman. The parade will be on Monday May 3oth  and it starts at 9:30. We request Scouts and Leaders  gather at 8:45. We will meet at the Boot Barn, which is at 915 West Main. This is the same location we’ve been meeting at for the last 10 years. We will gather in the Boot Barn parking lot. Please wear your full uniform but no need to bring your flags.

Our Council and District are on a recruiting campaign and I can not think of a better venue to show our stuff than at this parade. As in the past, there will be a couple thousand people lining the street on our way down Main. We are encouraging all Troops, Packs and Crew’s to participate.

Please arrange for your group to have someone pick them up or greet them down on Wallace where the Parade ends. There will be no transportation back up to the Boot Barn. There are just 2 porta potties available in the High School parking lot so I would encourage the participants to plan accordingly.

Please come and help us honor the Veterans who have served and those that have given their lives for our Country. Any questions call me at 406-581-2017. If your unit is participating, please give me a call and leave a message with how many Scouts you will have there.

Thank you!
