Scout Egg Drop - Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA Welcome!
When: Thursday, August 19th 2021
Test your science skills by packing a raw chicken egg in a container so well that when dropped from 40 feet is will not break. Read the Egg Drop rules carefully. When making your container, think about acceleration, gravity, air resistance, momentum, and kinetic energy and just how fun it will be to see if your egg survives the fall! This year we have both Cub Scout and Scouts BSA classes, so this event is for everyone.
After you clean-up your egg, you can participate in a 30 minute service project at the Dinosaur Park! Friends, family, and guests are invited to help as well. This wonderful community park will benefit from some Scout care, The Egg Drop is a wonderful way to introduce a friend to Scouting and spend time together as a family. If you have any questions, please contact organizer Amanda Fahlstrom. |
