2022 Mountain Valley District Pinewood Derby

Car Check-in Information

Check in Date: Friday, April 29th
Time: 5-7 pm
Alternative Check-in: (out-of-town, special circumstances)
Saturday, April 30th check-in by arrangement but please contact Jeff or Justin to get on the check-in list.

Check-in Location: Mountain Hot Tub, 8488 Huffine Road, Bozeman
Check-in is using the District Scales. If you are mailing your car, it must arrive in the Bozeman Scout Office by Friday, April 29th. 

Please register your cars prior to the race on the Mountain Valley District Website. (See Below)  Each car can only be registered for one Race class.  All Scout cars will be entered into the Show classes.

​Due to location and bandwidth requirements, the race will NOT be streamed on the internet for folks to watch from home.  Please plan to come to Mountain Hot Tub for the fun!!
2022 Race Classes 
Scout Speed - top 4 finishers from each Pack are eligible
Will award 1st - 3rd

Open Class -- for ALL Scouts and siblings only
Will award 1st - 3rd

Parent Class -- for all Moms and Dads

Outlaw Class -- ANYTHING goes, as long as it stays at 5 ounces (and doesn't do anything to mar the track)
Business Class -- $100 entry fee

We will also have 1 Show award for Best in Class.

The parent class, business class, and outlaw class winners will receive certificates.
