Who Can Join?
Boys and girls are welcome in BSA Scout Programs. Cub Scouts is for Kindergarden - 5th Grade. Scouts BSA is for youth 11-17, and we have both Boy and Girl Scout BSA Units. Venture Scouts and Explorers offer higher adventures and opportunities for those 14 - 20. There is a unit for every youth interested in fun, the outdoors, leadership, challenge, friendships, and adventure.
Welcome new District Executive Renee Stephens! We are SO lucky that Julie Evans, are soon to be in Maui outgoing DE, called Renee and gave one last pitch for her to be the new DE. Renee knows Scouting inside and out, has been active with Mountain Valley Scouting as Scout Week Coordinator, is mother to three top award Scouts (2 Eagles and 1 Silver Award), married to Gary Stephens, Scoutmaster of 676 for a long time, and she is also familiar with Bozeman since she coordinated the Emerson events program for several year. All-in-all, we could not wish for a better incoming DE so welcome Renee!
